Guests
Office personnel must withhold giving our resident's apartment numbers or telephone numbers to visitors, so please be sure your guests have this information. We also withhold admitting any person into your apartment without prior written permission. Permission slips are available at The Membership Office. If you have a friend who is apartment or plant sitting for you while you are on vacation or away on business, please notify the office in writing; otherwise, if this person becomes locked out, we will be unable to admit them.
Television, Radios, Stereos, Etc.
Please respect the privacy of your neighbors with regard to loud televisions, stereos, radios, and noisy gatherings. If you plan to have a gathering in your apartment, please let your neighbors know, and ask them to let you know if it gets too noisy. They will appreciate your concern for their privacy and the knowledge that you don't make this a habit. To register a complaint after business hours for noise complaints, minor disturbances, parking issues, and other non life-threatening matters that occur please call our Courtesy Officer at (614) 989-0159.
Fire Prevention
Fire prevention is, of course, a major concern of your management. We strongly urge you to make regular inspection of your apartment for fire hazards such as overloaded wall outlets, accumulation of newspapers or magazines, etc.. No charcoal grills are permitted. Gas grills must be kept away from the siding and watched very carefully. Do not store anything flammable in the apartment, garage, and storage facilities, under the stairs or in the breezeways. The storage of kerosene, gasoline, or other flammable or explosive agents is strictly prohibited. Please stay in your kitchen when frying foods, or cooking on the range top. Refrain from smoking in bed and check for lit cigarettes before retiring to bed.
Smoke Detectors
Please check your smoke detector monthly to make sure that it is working properly. Pressing the test button on the detector can do this. If the smoke detector does not alarm, then please contact the office immediately. If at any time your smoke detector chirps, this is an indication that the back-up battery needs to be replaced. Please contact the office immediately.
At no time should the smoke detector be tampered with or disarmed.
